Perry Mandera, is a successful Chicago entrepreneur who has set a high standard in the trucking industry. His passion for transportation began as a young United State Marine when he was assigned to the transport unit. This is where he first learned how to drive a truck. This experience led Mr. Mandera on to other opportunities in field of transportation logistics.


At the age of 23, Perry Mandera, began his own company driving truck (TheNewsVersion). He sold it a quick five years later and started, The Custom Companies Inc. The first company of its’ kind to offer full transportation services to their clients. Stretching beyond the limits of transportation by truck, The Custom Companies Inc, offers truckload, local cartage and air freight service to their clients. Their motto, “One Call Does It All,” shows they think of themselves as a one-stop shop for transportation services. Over the past twenty-five years, the company has developed the reputation of providing world class customer service to their clients.
