Dr. Sameer Jejurikar is known for his dedication to his patients. His patients have in turn shown their respect for the Dallas-based plastic surgeon, honoring him with a “Compassionate Doctor” certification. A partner at the Dallas Plastic Surgery Institute, Dr. Jejurikar also provides medical services at other facilities in the area, including Dallas Medical Center.
A native of the American Midwest, he received his medical training at the University of Michigan. He would subsequently receive advanced training in plastic surgery in Michigan and in New York. His experience in the field includes a residency at the University of Michigan Medical Center and a tenure as professor of surgery at the Texas A&M University System College of Medicine. He has served in his current position since 2009. A specialist in cosmetic surgery, Dr. Jejurikar specializes in gluteal augmentation, which is better known as the Brazilian Butt Lift.
Dr. Jejurikar believes in using his medical experience to help the unfortunate. He has taken trips to other parts of the world, including Asia and South America, to perform reconstructive surgery on patients who might otherwise go untreated. In his own practice, he believes in the concept of personalized medical care to provide the greatest benefit to his patients. The respect he receives from his patients was reflected in his 2013 “Compassionate Doctor” recognition, which is awarded on the basis of feedback from nearly 100 million patients. Only 3 percent of the nation’s physicians were so honored that year.
Dr. Jejurikar is also known for his numerous writings and oral presentations on various clinical matters. Among his professional associations, Dr. Jejurikar is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
