Dr. Avi Weisfogel Commits to Finding Breakthrough for Sleep Apnea

Doctors and researchers are increasingly becoming aware of the detrimental effects of sleep apnea. A recent study has found that sleep disorders relate to chronic diseases such as stroke, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease. As these chronic diseases surface, need for a renewed study to find a cure for sleep apnea arises. Dr. Avi Weisfogel, Dental Sleep Masters’ founder, has vast experience in sleep apnea disorders and devotes himself to finding its cure.

Dr. Weisfogel leads his team at Dental Sleep Masters in the cause to find treatment for sleep disorders. Nearly 90% of sleep disorder cases remain undiagnosed. Acknowledging that public awareness on sleep apnea needs to intensify, Dr. Weisfogel is devoted to finding its cure. In the pursuit of finding treatment for sleep apnea, Dr. Weisfogel has created a new healthcare model that allows physicians and sleep physicians to work together. The new healthcare model will help improve health care management and increase opportunities for medical practitioners. With this healthcare model, sleep doctors and dentists will work together to diagnose and find sleep apnea treatment. Its treatment will advance in the future as more breakthroughs arise. Dentists can now designate part of their practice to attend to sleep apnea patients. Again, clinical care will continue to advance as technology evolves.
